It’s simple ….

We must DELIGHT  before we get what we DESIRE

Look at Psalm 37, verse 4 … it says …

Delight yourself in the Lord;

And He will give you the desires of your heart.

We Can Trust Him

We can trust our Savior in the midst of the most difficult times.  We … or I should say … I do not always believe this.  King David did … and he went through some pretty scary times.  He was on the run from King Saul for much of his life … so the guy’s got some experience when it comes to enduring difficult times.

Verse 4 in Psalm 37 is my favorite of this Psalm … but look for a moment at the action words that David writes here ~

• Don’t worry
• Don’t be envious
• Trust
• Delight
• Commit

Seems simple ….. until you’re in a situation where you must remember these things and CHOOSE them.

Today … Tonight

Let’s choose to trust Him. Let’s choose to delight in Him. And let’s decide to commit all of us to Him!
